The best way to improve Chinese pronunciation between lessons

A compact routine for listening, recording, correcting, and transferring one pattern at a time.

Choose one target that affects understanding

Do not try to fix every sound in every sentence. Prioritize an unclear tone contrast, a recurring initial or final, or sentence rhythm that breaks a phrase into unnatural pieces.

Record before you repeat ten times

A first recording gives you a baseline. Compare it with a clear model, make one adjustment, then record again. Repetition without a specific change can simply make the existing habit more automatic.

Finish with a new sentence

Change one detail while preserving the sound pattern. If the improvement disappears, return to a shorter chunk. If it stays, the pattern is beginning to transfer.
